*Turmeric dropped on lack of support and fresh offerings in the wake of reports of auction by Andhra Pradesh Market.
*After waiting for nearly two months in hope of better prices, Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation accepted bids for sale of 800-900 tn turmeric.
*Arrivals of the new crop are likely to hit markets by December-end. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7506.25 Rupees dropped -75.4 Rupees.

*Jeera trading range for the day is 20825-21965.
*Jeera prices dropped amid higher sowing and good weather conditions in the producing centres of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
*Jeera acreage in Gujarat-the largest producer-rose to 269,800 hectare up from 180,300 hectare a year ago as farmer got very attractive prices. NCDEX accredited warehouses jeera stocks gained by 390 tonnes to 7363 tonnes.
*In Unjha, a key spot market in Gujarat, jeera edged down by -6.9 Rupees to end at 20896.65 Rupees per 100 kg.
Cardamom

*Cardamom trading range for the day is 1034.7-1068.5.
*Cardamom dropped on profit booking after prices gained amid good demand from exporters as well as from domestic stockists.
*Though weather in producing centres is favorable and prospects for this year as well as for the coming year are bright.
*Despite normal arrivals at auctions due to good crop, there is concern on the quality of the stocks.
*Cardamom prices in spot market gained by 13.10 rupees and settled at 998.10 rupees.
