Comex copper futures ended higher on Friday, while London copper prices hit a two-month high in thin pre-holiday trading, closing out the week with gains of more than 3 percent on signs of strong growth globally. Copper futures for March delivery rose 0.6 percent to settle at $3.24 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 0.5 percent at $7,124 a metric ton.
