Comex copper futures ended higher on Friday, while London copper prices too rose by a softer dollar after a report that investigators looking at possible Russian interference in the 2016 US election had subpoenaed President Donald Trump’s election campaign for documents.
Copper futures for December delivery rose 0.3 percent to settle at $3.057 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. While, copper on the London Metal Exchange ended up 0.6 percent at $6,777 a metric ton.
